Lone Rider Moto Light Review

Review of LoneRider Moto Lights on a BMW R1300GS

As a long-time rider, I’ve always been on the lookout for upgrades that improve safety and visibility, especially when navigating those dark, remote roads. After installing the LoneRider Moto Lights on my BMW R1300GS, I can confidently say these lights have exceeded my expectations in every way.

Installation:

The installation process was straightforward, even for a relatively non-technical rider like me. The lights come with a clean, well-organized wiring kit, and the instructions were clear enough to get everything mounted without any hiccups. The mount itself is sturdy, fitting seamlessly into the front of the bike, and the wiring runs neatly under the bodywork, without any risk of getting snagged. I’d rate the installation experience a solid 9/10.

Performance:

When it comes to lighting performance, the LoneRider Moto Lights really shine (pun intended). On the road, they provide a bright, wide, and evenly distributed beam that significantly enhances nighttime visibility. The light is not overly harsh, which prevents blinding oncoming traffic, but it’s more than enough to illuminate the road ahead, especially in those tricky, dark corners or when riding off-road.

The BMW R1300GS already has decent stock headlights, but these auxiliary lights make a world of difference. Whether you’re riding at night or in low-visibility conditions like fog or rain, these lights enhance your field of vision and help other drivers spot you from a distance.

Additionally, the Moto Lights come with multiple brightness settings, which can be adjusted based on your needs. Whether you’re on a casual evening ride or tackling a long-distance trip, the ability to tweak the intensity of the lights is a game changer.

Durability and Build Quality:

LoneRider has a reputation for building rugged and reliable products, and the Moto Lights are no exception. They are built to withstand harsh conditions, from rain to dirt and dust. I’ve ridden through some tough weather, and these lights have held up without showing any signs of wear. The aluminum housing and sealed lenses ensure that they remain intact and functional despite being exposed to the elements.

Aesthetics:

A nice touch is how sleek and modern the design looks on the BMW R1300GS. The lights don’t look bulky or out of place; they complement the bike’s aggressive yet refined look. The compact design is unobtrusive but still makes a noticeable difference in terms of lighting power.

Price:

At the higher end of the price spectrum, these lights might seem like an investment, but the quality, performance, and improved safety they provide make them well worth the cost. If you’re serious about enhancing your ride’s visibility and night-time capabilities, the LoneRider Moto Lights are a solid choice.

Final Thoughts:

If you’re looking for a high-quality lighting solution to complement your BMW R1300GS, the LoneRider Moto Lights are an excellent choice. They offer superb performance, exceptional durability, and an easy installation process. These lights make night riding safer and more enjoyable, and the added bonus of better visibility in low-light conditions is invaluable. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this upgrade and would highly recommend it to fellow GS owners looking to improve their bike’s lighting system.

VEG ER for Pets – Emergency Care with Transparency

We highly recommend VEG for emergency veterinary medicine. Every doctor, tech, and staff member we encountered was knowledgeable, proactive, and compassionate. We were kept up-to-date every step of the way during our fur baby’s treatment, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. We’re especially grateful to Drs. Yacobucci, Marvin, Nilles, Wetzel, and Landry, along with techs Mario, Shiloh, Zach, and Caitlyn.

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) operates 24/7 emergency-only hospitals and is known for its open-concept treatment approach, allowing pet parents to stay involved in their pet’s care whenever possible. In high-stress situations, that transparency makes all the difference.

Heading out on the new mount out.

So the new ride has been test driven around the area, had it’s first service and is now ready to ride.

To break it in properly I am taking her out for a around trip of 1200 miles to Alabama. This should be fun and exciting.

More info to follow.

New Touring Vehicle

After years of my trusty stead

Taking me to all these great places.

It is being replaced with a more touring orient stallion.

With this new ride, I’ll be posting reviews of it and gear. Not to mention access to more great locations.

So stay tuned for more exciting reviews and travel locations.

Helen Georgia

What a cute little town. The town looks like a German town that was lifted out of Bavaria. There are amusement parks or activities for everyone. Not to mention great food.

From talking with locals, this is the destination for Octoberfest. People come from  wide and far to turn this into a great party.

Dahlonega Georgia

Hello everyone. Wanted to give some feedback on a recent trip to Dahlonega Gergia.

Dahlonega is situated northeast of Atlanta in the beautiful Smoke Mountains. The people are present and friendly.

The town square is alive with activity and place to stay and eat.

If you happen to be in the area you really should stop in on the little town.

Just a quick post

There are some exciting developments developments behind the scenes. We have a backlog of reviews to post as well as a new review topic. We have replaced an old friend that has been providing us transportation for some of our content with a new ride. We will be talking about it and accessories for it in future post.

So stay tuned more to come.

Magic Kingdom

I have fine some post on where we ate and done in Magic Kingdom but wanted to post a few thoughts and pics.

First off, way to many Stiller’s strollers. They are everywhere and a hazard to walking around. We got hit multiple times from stroller drivers not looking where they are going or not realizing how much room their strollers take up.

Second the park is expensive so get everything you can. Do not think about the outside world.

Here are a few pics.

One thing I had to break out was a wonderful example of how nature adapts.

On the way out am owl decided to saw goodbye.

Plaza Restaurant

After a long day of fun 😊. We hit the Plaza Restaurant for dinner. It’s a small restaurant near the castle in Magic Kingdom. The food is sandwiches and ice cream. This was probably the best value we have had in Disney. The French Dip was good with lots of meat and a tasty horseradish sauce.

French Dip

The better half grabbed a turkey sandwich.

Turkey Sandwich

Both were very good. If your looking not to break the bank and get something good to eat stop by the Plaza Restaurant.

Sunshine Tree Terrace

Is Disney hot in April, heck yes. So what are you to do. Stop at a number of ice cream shops that do the park and get something cool. A chocolate covered Mickey is always a treat.

Sunshine Tree Terrace is an example of those stops. We grabbed some soft serve while in the park to fight the heat.

As a reminder that although there are a lot of place that sell ice cream they do have differences. For example not so do soft serve.
